Meet the Team
Jacqueline Berry is the Founding Director of My Care Consultant and manages the initial consultancy process with clients.
Jacqueline’s mission for My Care Consultant is to make specialist care and paying for care advice more accessible. She believes in making sense of the complex by providing independent and straight forward care planning guidance to consumers, as well as raising the awareness of the importance of professional services such as legal and financial advice, and signposting people to these.
Her passion for good Long Term Care stems from personal experience. She therefore understands the emotional impact this time can have on the whole family.
Jacqueline previously worked at Partnership Assurance now JUST, where she gained her extensive knowledge and experience of long term care as well as the Chartered Insurance Institute long-term-care qualification CF8.
Anthony Miles is Operations Director at My Care Consultant and has over 30 years’ experience working within Financial Services, many of which have been spent helping financial advisers develop their propositions for clients in later life.
Professional qualifications include an MBA with the Open University, the Diploma in Financial Planning from the Personal Finance Society, and long-term-care qualification CF8 from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
He has held various positions in major product providers, including Head of Strategic Accounts at Prudential plc and Head of Strategic Sales for annuity specialist provider Partnership.
More recently he has worked with the Personal Finance Society helping to develop content for their CPD regional events as well as numerous ‘Good Practice’ guides.
Lynn Miles is Marketing and Communications Director at My Care Consultant.
Following on from a career as a teacher in her native Scotland, Lynn started her career in Financial Services developing training materials for financial advisers on behalf of a major Insurance Company.
Since then she has become a published ghost writer, copy-writer and marketeer, most recently helping to create and co-ordinate adviser marketing material on behalf of an AIM-listed financial services Group, one of the UK’s most prestigious and diverse financial advice firms.
